about

Recorded following the House Theatre of Chicago's highly applauded production of The Revel (new play written by Damon Kiely). McIntosh's original score stands alone in this recording, but weaves in and out of dialogue on stage. The Revel is set in a mythical 1930s Appalachian town, and is loosely adapted from Euripides' Greek tragedy, The Bacchae.

**Includes an entirely unreleased murder ballad - originally composed for the play, but cut just before opening night!
